2008 Volkswagen Touareg

The 2008 Volkswagen Touareg undergoes some stylistic changes. This is a clever move on Volkswagen's part in order to differentiate the model from the rest of the competitors in its class.

Whenever a new class of vehicle becomes immensely popular, there is an immediate mass produced number of entires into the field that all look exactly alike to the standard consumer.

The original minivan boom is a perfect example of this. The most recent automotive boom was of course the luxury SUV, and in order to distinguish itself, in '08, Volkswagen has attempted to put some unique VW style into the Touareg. The new Touareg features a new front end redesign that give the car a more macho feel!

The vehicle is still essentially the same powerful vehicle, good for off-roading and highway cruising in equal measure, it's just been dressed up a bit to give it a more individualistic identity.

This makes the 2008 Volkswagen Touareg an even better buy than previous models, because you get more Volkswagen style with the same great features underneath.

2006 Volkswagen Touareg

The 2006 Volkswagen Touareg has learned one of the most important lessons that all auto manufactures must sometimes learn. If the car is perfect, don't change it.

However, in years that no great discoveries are made in those fields, too many automakers feel the need to try and redesign an already excellent car in order to get a jump on their competition. Often, this results in changes to things that people greatly enjoyed, and just causes frustration.

Volkswagen realized that its Luxury SUV had all of the things that people were looking for in 2005, and so decided to leave it that way. There are of course the minor changes that take place on all new cars from year to year, but by and large, the 2006 Volkswagen Touareg is the same vehicle that so many loved in 2005.

2005 Volkswagen Touareg

The 2005 Volkswagen Touareg is an SUV to be reckoned with. The SUV craze has been sweeping the country for many years now, and there is stiff competition to provide the perfect combination of power, style, comfort, uniqueness, and safety all in one vehicle.

Luckily, the company that seemed best suited to doing just that is Volkswagen. Powerful enough to tow up to 7700 lbs, the Touareg can more than compete with other vehicles in that department.

SUV's have become a status symbol, but the styling of the Touareg can't be beat, as it still retains that uniquely Volkswagen flavor that has been so popular for years.

Its safety features are all up to Volkswagen's very highly discriminating qualifications, and of course, the interior offers nothing but the best in comfort.

With all of these factors playing in its favor, the 2005 Volkswagen Touareg is a heavy contender in its class.
